Link Asset Management Limited (“Link”) announced that after more than 20 months of meticulous preparation and construction, “Town Playground,” Hong Kong’s first wetland-themed outdoor playground, located in the Sky Garden of the North Tower of T Town, Link’s flagship shopping mall in Tin Shui Wai, will officially open on December 21 (Sunday). Comprising two buildings, north and south, and totaling three floors, T Town is situated in the heart of Tin Shui Wai. Its excellent location and diverse retail, dining, vibrant market, and lifestyle experiences offered by over 160 shops have made it a favorite among residents of Yuen Long, Tuen Mun, and the Northwest New Territories. The arrival of the new outdoor playground, “Town Playground,” further enhances T Town’s appeal as a leisure and entertainment center for all ages, and creates a synergistic effect with the adjacent wetland ecological area, significantly increasing the mall’s attractiveness.

Led by Bill Bill, the migratory black-faced spoonbill and BulBul, a representative of local birds, a host of wetland species have taken up residence at "Town Playground," a brand-new outdoor playground in the T Town North Sky Garden. Spanning over 32,000 square feet, the playground features seven vibrant zones showcasing wetland species, including a 6-meter-high treehouse slide and a 5-meter-high adventure tower, offering nine rides and attractions suitable for children aged 3 to 12 to enjoy fun and learn about the rich and diverse wetland ecosystem.

Designed by the award-winning design team One Bite, "Town Playground" showcases the dynamic charm of wetlands with its vibrant and energetic free rides in a dazzling array of colors. Highlights include the 5-meter-tall "BillBill Adventure Tower," where the ever-popular "Wetland Star," the Black-faced Spoonbill, awaits visitors atop the tower. Children must navigate various obstacles and climb vertical frames to experience the thrill of soaring through the air.

For the ultimate challenge, ascend the "BulBul Treehouse." The Red-whiskered BulBul beckons from the 6-meter-high rooftop. Children can climb the stairs to the top and then glide down at high speed, experiencing the exhilarating sensation of the BulBul swooping through the air.

Nine wetland animal-themed play facilities showcase the unique dynamic charm of the wetlands.

Other fun areas include "Town Play with the Shovel-billed Duck," accessible directly from the entrance, and "Town Play with the Fiddler Crab," where you can encounter one of the most common and iconic wetland animals. These areas also feature a "Sidewalk Balance Beam" and a "Crab Bouncy Ball," allowing visitors to test their balance and jumping abilities.

If you're confident in your balance and jumping ability, head to the "Town Mangrove Play" area. The spotted civet cat with its black and brown ringed tail invites children to ride the "Civet Carousel," testing their spin control. The tree frog, king of jumping in the mangrove mudflats, will challenge you on the "Tree Frog Trampoline" for the title of jumping king. Fruit bats, who love fruit and nectar, set up a challenge for those who dare to climb high in the "Bat Whirlwind Tower." The butterflies on the "Butterfly Swing" will fly alongside you. Mudskippers, active on the wetland mudflats, invite you to unleash your jumping potential in the "Town Mudskipper Play" area, freely leaping over the obstacles of the "Jumping Mudskipper." Finally, at the "Town Balance Bike Play" area, children can compete on balance bikes, relying on speed, courage, and balance to become the king.
